I build small tools that do one job properly.
Desktop apps for the things I do every day: writing, talking, planning the next trip. They run on your own machine, open instantly, and don't want your data.

I'm Matt Rogers, and I'm based in the UK. A lot of what I build starts as a fix for something that annoys me. I wanted a Markdown editor that opened in a blink and didn't need an account, so I wrote one. Typing long messages was slowing me down, but I didn't want my voice going to someone else's server, so I built a dictation app that runs entirely offline.
I like software that's quiet and fast and respects the person using it. That means no sign-ups, no tracking and no subscriptions. The tools here are ones I use myself every day, and you're welcome to use them too.
When I'm not at a keyboard I'm usually outdoors somewhere with a tent, filming for Camp With Matt. The GPX Editor exists because of those trips.
